Ukhozi Lodge truly captures the romance and intimacy of Africa. Nestled in the bush you will discover 10 luxury, log-constructed suites. Each suite features a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower and bath as well as a private deck and plunge pool from where one can enjoy the panoramic views of the valley. Amenities provided in the suites include air-conditioning and tea- and coffee-making facilities.
The lodge boasts unique African-style lounges, a restaurant and a boma with an outdoor pool. Wi-Fi internet access is available at the lodge, but not in the suites. At the lodge, guests can unwind in front of warm log fires, enjoy sumptuous cuisine or simply share experiences of the African bush.
The Homestead is a private lodge which offers its guests all the comfort, convenience and luxury of their own home. With a dedicated game ranger and chef, guests have the flexibility to plan their day according to their own specific needs. The Homestead is set in a remote and private part of the reserve. It is the perfect lodge for the sole use of a group or family of up to 10 persons.
Accommodation comprises spacious and comfortable suites with king-size beds that can be converted to twin beds, overhead fans, and en-suite bathrooms with generous showers. There is also a main- and presentation kitchen with tea- and coffee-making facilities available as well as a dining room and lounge with fireplace. Guests also have access to the Internet. Other establishment facilities include a pub lounge with satellite TV and fireplace, a private outdoor boma, patio and swimming pool as well as a playroom for children and a laundry room.

River Lodge is situated on the banks of the Bushman’s River, this Lodge is unique in that it connects a Big-5 game reserve to the sea. Our optional daily boat cruises ferry our guests through the quaint village of Kenton-on-sea to its picturesque and user-friendly beaches. Unique features include excellent river fishing and canoeing.
Accommodation comprises 10 units and can accommodate 20 guests. Each unit features an en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning and a private patio.

The Oyster Shack is a tastefully decorated house located in Kenton-on-Sea. This holiday house can accommodate 8 persons, and is ideally situated a few minutes drive from Kariega beach, shops, and restaurants in the town.
This fully furnished house comprises 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and a TV with DStv viewing, and features a lounge area with a balcony, and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, a large shower, and twin basins. The second bedroom is also equipped with queen-size bed; the third bedroom is also furnished with a queen-size bed, and the fourth room has a bunk bed and 1 single bed. These 2 rooms share the third bathroom.
The fully equipped, open-plan kitchen contains the necessary appliances to cook meals. There is also a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble-dryer, and the adjacent lounge features a fireplace and a TV with DStv viewing.
The living area leads out onto a covered patio, which features a built-in braai facility and outdoor dining furniture. The courtyard also has a netted pool, an outdoor shower, and a jungle gym for children to play on. Off-street parking is available for vehicles.
Spanning the magnificent Kariega Estuary on its course to meet the warm Indian Ocean, malaria-free Sibuya is South Africa’s only ‘Big 5’ game reserve accessed solely by boat. After arriving at Sibuya’s reception near the river mouth in Kenton-on-Sea, guests embark on a meandering 45 minute boat cruise to the breathtakingly beautiful Reserve. Leaving behind the wide, golden beaches of the Sunshine Coast, kingfishers, fish eagles, otters, antelope and other wildlife may be spotted.
With just four or eight luxury tents in each camp and 4 elegant suites in the lodge, our professional guides are able to offer you personalised game drives, rewarding walks, exclusive boat trips and sumptuous beach and bush picnics. Swimming, canoeing and fishing are also on offer, or you might choose to simply relax in a hammock under the trees, book in hand.
The ancient floodplains and pristine coastal forest play host to an abundance of wildlife: nearly 400 species of birds and 45 species of game including the “Big Five”. The sub-tropical vegetation ensures a high density of wildlife and one of the best game-viewing experiences in the country. The estuary holds its own bounty: crabs, turtles, the occasional small shark and fish flopping in and out of the water. Additional activities by arrangement include: massages; horse riding on the beach.
Under starlit skies, the distant roar of the ocean and the soft glow of lanterns are the only distractions as guests are served fine fireside fare in the warm embrace of the evening fire.
